The National Center for International Schools houses both the Chinese American International School and the French American International School. These schools are pre-kindergarten through 12th grade institutions that pride themselves on rigorous academic training combined with cultural awareness and investigation.
Why we're Green
Our facility recycles and composts, and we are currently at 67% diversion rate with Recology. We also recently installed a 206KW solar PV system, and have been EPA Energy Star-rated for 3 concurrent years (current score is 97). We continue to look for more sustainable solutions, including the possibility of a combined heat and power gas-fired cogen plant. Our building has lighting controls and we have totally relamped with 28-Watt fluorescent tubes.
